FIRESPIT captures my Matchless Spitfire — one of my favorite amps I’ve ever played.
For this updated Kemper release, I re-profiled the Spitfire using Kemper Profiling 2.0, and I’m really liking these upgraded profiles. The amp feels clear, touch-sensitive, and easy to play.
This version is centered around the Spitfire through its own Creamback speaker. That has become my favorite way to capture this amp: simple, focused, and built around the sound of the combo itself.
The pack includes 5 rigs of the amp at different gain stages, moving from clean and chimey into pushed, broken-up, and singing lead tones. These rigs include my usual effects layout, so they’re ready to use as-is or build from inside your own Kemper setup.
I’ve also included 5 dry rigs with no effects loaded — just the amp profiles — for anyone who wants to use their own effects, record dry, or keep things simple on a Kemper Player.
You’ll also get one Kemper Performance: my “Performance to Rule Them All” setup, built around the FIRESPIT profiles.
As a bonus, I’ve included all of the previous FIRESPIT files in the download too, so you’ll have everything I’ve ever released with this amp, including the earlier Greenback, Alnico Blue, and Creamback versions.
